July 2009: A new CD has been added to the Special Collections section of the LaSalle Library. The 1886 Strawbridge and Clothier CD is now available for purchase. It has been a labor of love, with the descriptions of the fashions within it's pages re-typed for you to read and 5 patterns (including diagrams and instructions) included. Did I forget to mention the fabulous color fashion plate? It is truly wonderful!
I am happy to announce the beginning of a new venture in parasol making! They will be called "OMG parasols" by Lady LaSalle. All of the particulars are in the shop area, so you can go there and read about them plus see some photos of past parasols that I've made for myself and many others.
August 2009: I recently took part in the "Most Beautiful Bustle Dress in the World" and I am proud to announce that I took 2nd place! It was a complete surprise and rather overwhelming when I found out. On top of this, many of my close friends took home top honors as well!
