These CD's are compiled of nothing but original cabinet cards, tin types, and CDV's (carte de visite ). Here you can get a sense of how women interpreted the fashions of the time period, and you will see that they weren't perfect either! How refreshing is that! Each CD is composed of images from the Civil War up to and including the Belle Epoch Era. You'll have photos of ladies, men, couples, children, and even actors and actresses to inspire you to create your next dress or costume. And that is just what Fannie Kickinshoot did! She took one of the images and used that as her inspiration for her State Dress which she wore to the 2008 SASS International Convention this year.
