Welcome to the LaSalle Library------your premier place for digital Victorian fashion images. I have painstakingly edited images to produce one of the most beautiful and complete collections of fashions from a by-gone time. Eventually, I will have images from 1860 thru 1903, which is over 30 years of Victorian fashion. Currently the Early Bustle thru the Late Bustle eras is available, and I'm currently working on the 90's or the Belle Epoch era. Here at the Libary, you can find specific years to make that special one-of-a-kind dress. There are also Special Collections of rare and unique periodiclas from entire years or quarters that are truly a treasure to own. And if all this isn't enough, you can find CDV and Cabinet Card images of men and women wearing their interpretations of the latest Victorian styles. The Library is always growing, expanding, and updating so check back often to find out what is the latest and greatest addition.
I do make all of my own costumes, plus I've been known to sew for my daughters from time to time. You can see photos of previous dresses I've made in the Gallery, plus you can view the dresses that have given me the costuming titles of "Best Dressed" at the State, Regional, and National levels for SASS. I have been known to have some good ideas from time to time, or have been able to help out a friend who just couldn't figure out how to make a special pattern piece. So if you're stuck, you can always drop me a line.
The stories and skits that I have written over the years are located in the Articles page. Some folks have told me that I'm a good story writer, and I have a flair for the outrageous. You can always count on having a good laugh with me around. Comments from folks who have purchased CD's from the library are listed in the Guest Book. They'll tell you what they think of them, but I can already tell you that they love them.
